Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Unit Information

Unit: Progressive Care Unit (Stepdown ICU)
Patient Population: 50% Medical / 50% Telemetry (adults only)
Typical Patient Ratio: 4-6 patients per nurse
Equipment: Standard nursing equipment on Telemetry unit
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC

Shift & Hours

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each
Weekly guaranteed hours: 48
Weekend hours: As needed
Call requirements: None
Float: Required as needed/customary

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS certification
ACLS certification
EKG interpretation skills

Preferred Attributes
