CT Tech Travel/Contract Position - Florida, Weston
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (CT Technology focus)
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM)
- Call: Up to 2 days per month
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Proof of identity: Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during work hours)
- Proof of eligibility to work (I9, E-Verify)
- Background checks including:
- 7-year criminal history check covering all locations lived/worked
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
- Primary source verification of education and licensure within 30 days of start
- Competency exam as applicable to CT Tech specialty
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual updates required)
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (no FL Medical Marijuana card acceptance)
- Immunizations and titers:
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions apply for candidates born before 1957
- Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination accepted
- Varicella: 2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox
- Seasonal Influenza vaccine required during flu season (10/31 - 3/31); medical/religious exemptions allowed with approved documentation
- COVID-19 vaccination: 2 doses Pfizer or Moderna OR 1 dose Johnson & Johnson required; no declinations allowed; boosters not required currently; medical/religious exemptions require agency-approved documentation and facility exemption form
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel allied positions
- Employment application and annual skills checklist for applicable units
- Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint results as per state requirements
Additional Notes
- Facility will issue radiation badges to applicable candidates
- Orientation includes mandatory online training modules that must be completed prior to start; modules require use of a computer with Google Chrome and cannot be completed on a phone
- Candidates with prior contracts at the facility may have different onboarding requirements depending on employment gaps
- Call requirement is limited to a maximum of 2 days per month
