Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Martin, Tennessee
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units.
• Weekend work required every other weekend.
• May be required to float to Antepartum (AP), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Postpartum, or Nursery as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried during hours of service.
• Completion of E-Verify/I9 documentation as applicable.
• Must complete an Epic test-out prior to or shortly after start (one attempt only).
• Adherence to facility appearance standards.
• Completion of skills checklist and competency exams as applicable.
• Employment application/resume required.

• Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate.
• No prior travel experience required.
