Description

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Unit: 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit
Patient Population: Adult medical patients
Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: Approximately 4-5 patients per RN
EMR System: EPIC

Job Details

Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights; rotation every other week (EOW) and day rotate positions rotate a couple of shifts per month
Must be able to read cardiac telemetry strips
Floating to other units may be required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Minimum 3 years of telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
