Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular
Location: Plainview, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Multispecialty ultrasound position requiring experience in:
- General ultrasound
- Fetal ultrasound
- OB ultrasound
- Breast ultrasound
- Transvaginal ultrasound
- Vascular ultrasound
- Echocardiogram (adult echo, contrast echo, echo stress treadmill)
- No floating between units
- On-call required:
- Monday to Friday: 5 PM - 8 AM
- 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
- Weekends required on-call
- Patient ratio: 8:1
- Facility type: Short Term Acute Care, Level IV Trauma Center
- Total staffed beds: 49
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with recent experience within the last year
- Experience as a Vascular Sonographer
- Experience in Fetal Echocardiography
- Experience as a Breast Sonographer
- Experience in Adult Echocardiography
- Experience as an OB Technician
Additional Requirements
- Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required prior to start
- Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
- On-call and weekend availability required
- Must comply with facility float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to nearby facilities)
Work Environment
- Short Term Acute Care hospital with Level IV Trauma designation
- 49 staffed beds
- Patient ratio approximately 8:1
- On-call coverage includes nights and weekends

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
- Candidates must provide interview availability upon submission
- 48-hour workweek approval is not granted for this role
