Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day/Evening shifts
- 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Weekend rotation and call responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Completion of a radiologic technology program
- ARRT (R) certification
- ARRT (CT) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Compliance and Background Requirements
- Background check within 90 days prior to start, including all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years
- Education verification required for Radiologic Technologist program completion
- Wisconsin BID Form and Caregiver Screening (state-mandated)
- Drug screening per standard clinical requirements
- Physical exam (to meet agency standard, not facility-required)
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray with TB questionnaire
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titers, with medical/religious exemptions accepted
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer, with exemptions accepted
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or declination form
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required annually during flu season)
- Other vaccines or declinations as applicable (e.g., Meningococcal for certain departments)
Testing and Competency Requirements
- Facility-specific competency exams as applicable
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Pass/Fail Telemetry testing not required for this role (specific to nursing and allied health specialties)
Documentation and Orientation
- Photo for badge (passport-style, no selfies or headwear except for religious/medical reasons)
- Signed acknowledgment of safety manual and pass/fail testing policies as applicable
- Employment application and skills checklist (annual requirement)
- Two clinical references within the last 3 years (agency standard)
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
- ARRT certifications and Wisconsin license must be verified through primary source within 30 days of start
- All certifications must be current and renewed according to facility policy
- Background checks with pending or convicted charges require facility review before start
