NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Madison, Wisconsin

Job Details

Position: NICU Registered Nurse
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts, day (7:00am–7:30pm) and night (7:00pm–7:30am)
Schedule: Monday through Friday with 2-3 weekends required per 6-week scheduling period
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

Provide care in a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Manage post-operative patients, gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes), tracheostomy and ventilator management
Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation required

Required Qualifications & Compliance

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Experience with post-operative patients
Experience with gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes)
Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management
Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
