Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
Shift: Primarily 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (36 hours) or 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours), with occasional weekends or call
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Contract Length: 26 weeks
EMR System: EPIC
Patient Population: Pediatric to geriatric patients
Procedures: Laryngoscopy, sinus surgery, facial plastics and trauma, cochlear implants, oral surgery, complex head and neck cancer surgery, tonsillectomy, tympanoplasty
Work Environment: Fast-paced, trauma level 1 setting

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Experience in ENT surgery
Experience in plastic surgery
Experience in pediatrics
Experience in trauma cases
