Work Schedule

• Night shift, 4x10 hour shifts (6:00 PM to 4:00 AM)
• On-call required, including weekend call coverage
• Floating within scope required to cover X-ray as needed
• Block scheduling accommodations available

• Acute Care Medical Center with Long Term Care and Outpatient services
• Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital
• Total staffed beds: 46 Acute Care, 22 Long Term Care

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with 0 years of experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT CT certification

Skills and Competencies

• Skills as required per unit description
• Must be able to float to X-ray within scope
• Medication and competency exams as applicable

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; updated annually
• Drug screen: 9-panel within 12 months of start
• Education verification required
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
  • TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination (Alaska placements require positive titer and vaccine series)
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
  • COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted
• Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates
• Fit mask testing required annually for travel candidates
• References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years

Additional Requirements

• Must provide government-issued photo ID and Social Security card as applicable
• Must comply with facility float policy (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
• Must complete annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules as assigned
• Must provide a passport-style badge photo with neutral background

Housing and Transportation

• Facility provides housing (typically 1-bedroom apartments) and a rental vehicle during assignment
• Housing available no earlier than 72 hours before contract start and must be vacated within 24 hours after contract end
• Pets are not allowed in housing
• Housing typically accommodates only the traveler; additional family members require approval
• Housing and vehicle must be cleaned upon departure or fees may apply
• Vehicle use restricted to within 30-mile radius of facility and “around town” only
• Only the traveler may operate the vehicle; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required
• Rental car insurance coverage required on personal insurance policy
• Vehicle must be returned with a full tank of gas and cleaned
