Description

Registered Nurse – PICU (Travel/Contract)

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights or rotating (3 shifts of 12 hours each; 19:00–7:00 or 7:00–19:00)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
Every other holiday off
3 weekends off per six-week schedule
Can approve 40 hours for time off, but no time off approved during first 2 weeks of contract
Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
Minimum of 1 year of recent Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Association for Respiratory Care
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
