CT Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures independently using proper techniques and contrast media administration.
• Operate CT equipment and perform venipuncture within scope of practice and licensure.
• Coordinate patient flow and CT scanner activities.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition using professional judgment.
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed.
• Possible on-call responsibilities.
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), 12-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate degree in Allied Health, majoring in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT RT (R) certification
• BLS certification

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• E-Verify completion required prior to start.
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, national sex offender registry, and other federal/state checks.
• Education verification with primary source verification.
• Physical exam within 2 years indicating fitness to work and free of communicable diseases.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray documentation; annual TB questionnaire if past positive.
• Drug screening: Negative 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 12 months, including marijuana panel.
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season.
• Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually.
• Skills checklist updated within 1 year prior to documentation due date.
• Two professional references within 2 years (one must be a manager/supervisor/charge RN) or employment verification if references unavailable.
• Current resume or employment application required.

Additional Notes

• The employer reserves the right to cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census.
• The agreement may be canceled with 2 weeks’ notice without penalty.
• Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives.

Work Environment and Skills

• Work under scope of practice and licensure for medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture.
• Coordinate patient flow efficiently within the Radiology Department.
• Maintain diagnostic equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Flexibility to perform other imaging procedures as departmental needs arise.

• 3 shifts per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• 12-hour shifts: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM
