Speech Language Pathologist - Travel/Contract
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Contract Length: 6 weeks (42 days)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5 days/week, 40 hours/week)
Job Description
- Provide speech-language pathology services for students in grades K-8 with PEL and SLP endorsement required.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students.
- Serve IEP and 504 plan minutes, attend IEP/504 meetings.
- Write all speech components of the IEP or 504 plans.
- Write entire IEPs for students who are speech-only.
- Participate as a member of the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license endorsed for grades K-8.
- Certification and state licensure as applicable for speech-language pathology professionals.
Work Hours
- 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
- Total 40 hours per week.
Additional Information
- This is a travel/contract position requiring flexibility and adaptability to a school environment.
- Experience working with IEP and 504 plans is essential.
