Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based assignment in Illinois, requiring a PEL with SLP endorsement for grades K-8.

Details

  • School-based setting serving grades K-8
  • Caseload of approximately 45 students
  • Serves IEP and 504 minutes across the student caseload
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm (5x8-hour shifts)
  • 42-week contract

Requirements

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement required
  • SLP licensure required if applicable
  • Experience working with K-8 student populations
  • Familiarity with IEP and 504 plan development and implementation
  • Experience with MTSS frameworks preferred

Additional Information

  • Deliver IEP and 504 service minutes as outlined in individual student plans
  • Attend IEP and 504 meetings as a contributing team member
  • Write all speech-language components of IEPs and 504 plans, including complete IEPs for speech-only students
  • Serve as a member of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team
  • Resume required for consideration
