Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Location: Belfast, Maine

Job Details

• Schedule:

  • 4 nine-hour days
  • Typical shift: 6:45 AM – 4:15 PM
  • Monday to Friday, no set schedule
  • Work late every 3-4 Fridays to finish cases
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Call Requirements:

  • Rotating weekend call starting Friday 4:15 PM through Monday 6:45 AM
  • Rotating holiday call coverage
• Unit:

  • Operating Room with 3 ORs and 2 procedure rooms
  • Patient ratio 1:1
  • Patient types include Endoscopy, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology
• Equipment: Stryker, Storz, Steris, etc.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Additional Information

• Dress code includes hospital-provided blue scrubs
• No float requirements

• 13 weeks
