Description

RN Case Manager

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Unit: Case Management (inpatient medical surgical coverage)
Patient Population: Adult
Bed Count: 200
Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:15
EMR System: EPIC
Floating: Yes
Rotating Shifts: No
Weekend Commitment: Up to every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Minimum 10 years of experience in Case Management, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience in Discharge Planning
Experience in Utilization Management

Additional Information

Floating to other units may be required
No rotating shifts, but weekend coverage up to every other weekend is expected
Must comply with all credentialing and health requirements prior to start
No prior travel experience explicitly required

This position is ideal for experienced RN Case Managers with strong skills in utilization management and discharge planning seeking a stable day-shift assignment in an adult inpatient medical surgical setting.
