Registered Nurse (ER)

Location: Callicoon, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (0700, 1000, 1100, or 1200), every other weekend
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Job Description

• Work in a small Critical Access Hospital with 15 beds plus 10 acute beds.
• Provide emergency room nursing care covering all types of patients in a slow ED environment.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly is essential.
• Prior experience in Critical Access Hospital (CAH) settings is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
• Valid certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year medical-surgical nursing experience
