Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer

Location: Poplar Bluff, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekends only (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday), Days 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Call Requirements: Saturday and Sunday nights call required
Floating: Possible floating to outpatient imaging center

Job Description

• Provide timely diagnostic ultrasound services to inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Perform sonographic procedures including abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), transvaginal, small parts (thyroid, breast, scrotum), vascular, cardiac, and OB procedures.
• Perform ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.
• General ultrasound studies experience required; cardiac adult sonography and echo experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience within the last year.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential required.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification for ultrasound required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Vascular sonographer experience required.
