CT Tech - Radiology
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Job Details
- Department: Radiology (CT Tech role supporting Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Room areas)
- Shift: Evenings, 5 days a week, 8 hours per shift
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
- Weekend Requirement: Every weekend
- Call: None required (but able to be on call if needed)
- Orientation: Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; traveler must be available for the entire orientation week
- Equipment: GE CT equipment
- EMR System: EPIC
- Dress Code: Black scrubs required
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists or physicians
- Assist radiologists with interventional and special CT procedures (e.g., biopsy, ablation, myelography, arthrography)
- Provide essential patient care during procedures
- Apply radiation safety principles
- Organize daily schedule and serve as a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Valid Driver's License
Additional Information
- Flu vaccination is mandatory for all travelers from November 1 through April 1; no declinations accepted
- Float to other areas as required by the facility
