Operating Room RN
Overview
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Schedule: Weekend position; Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 per week
Role Highlights
- Scrub and circulate required
- Robotics experience in urology is needed
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required
- No on-call requirement, though additional shifts may be available if interested
- Scrubs are provided
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course or TCRN
- Endovascular experience
- Open vascular experience
- General surgery experience
- OMFS (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) experience
- Podiatry experience
- Ortho Trauma experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
- Neurology experience
- Urology experience
Additional Notes
- Pulmonary experience is a plus but not required
- Epic charting is used
- RTO is due at time of submission
