Job Overview

Schedule and Work Expectations
- Weekend coverage required: every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
- On-call: TBD by unit needs
- Floating within scope: No
- Floating to sister facilities may be required if needed
- Block scheduling: TBD by unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
- Cath Lab Technologist with 1 year of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with the Xper recording platform
- Experience working in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab
- Experience working in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
- PACS experience
- Cardioversion experience
- Pacemaker Insertion experience
- Tilt Table Study experience
- Angioplasty experience
- Stent placement experience
- Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms/declots) experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience with special equipment such as Impella, Balloon Pump, CSI, Shockwave, and Penumbra
Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements
- Flu vaccine required, with signed medical or religious exemptions only
- Finalized RTO must be included with submission
- Background check and fingerprint clearance must be completed before start
- Physical exam within 6 months prior to start
- Fit test within 12 months prior to start
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella titers
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- 2 professional references from employment within the past 12 months
- Current application/resume dated within 90 days of start
Facility Notes
- Acute care hospital
- Level III Adult trauma designation
- 150 staffed beds
- Scrubs: any solid color, matching top and bottom, no logos or prints; traveler must purchase own scrubs
- Charting system: Sunrise
- Parking: free with decal provided at orientation
