Oncology Chemo Certified RN
Location
- Monroe, Michigan
Schedule
- Day shift, 4x10 hours
- Monday through Friday
- Weekend coverage required every six weeks for about 2 hours
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Setting
- Infusion center and outpatient oncology
Patient Population
- Adults and geriatrics
- Oncology and non-oncology infusion patients
Key Responsibilities
- Chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy infusions
- Bone marrow transplant-related care, including CAR-T and graft-versus-host disease
- IV therapy and infusion management
- Oncology symptom management and emergency response
- Wound care, tracheostomy care, Foley catheter management, and care coordination
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology experience with 2 years of experience
- Oncology experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience
- Experience with Epic
