Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Schedule
- Per diem
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 5x8 shifts
- Weekends are call only
Setting
- Small community hospital
- Less than 20 patients per day
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases
- IR unit has 2 rooms and 3 holding bays
- Hospital has 148 beds
Case Mix
- Thoracentesis
- Paracentesis
- Line placements
- Lumbar punctures
- Biopsies
- Drain placements
- Dialysis-related work
- GI bleeds
- UAE procedures
- Port placements
- G-tube placements and replacements
- Nephrostomy tube placements and replacements
- Chole tube placements and replacements
Required Qualifications
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- BLS
- Siemens Artis Zee equipment knowledge
- GE Ultrasound equipment knowledge
Additional Details
- Call may require staying late, though overnight and weekend call-in is uncommon
- Holidays are call only
- Uses Epic for patient lookup
