Registered Nurse Case Manager

Location

  • Sitka, Alaska

Job Type

  • Contract
  • 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Day shift: Monday–Friday, 0800–1700

Role Summary

  • Outpatient ambulatory registered nurse role providing patient-centered care in a clinic setting.
  • Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, medication and treatment administration, clinical procedures, patient education, care coordination, documentation, quality/safety compliance, teamwork, and floating to other departments or assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Alaska.
  • Case Management experience within the last year.
  • 1 year of Case Management experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Ambulatory Care experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Case Management certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Additional Notes

  • Direct hire candidates must have applied for an Alaska nursing license before the start date.
  • Agency staff must have an active Alaska license.
  • Start date is at least 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received in Juneau.
  • Traveler profiles are only accepted from candidates living at least 100+ miles from the facility address.

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
