Labor and Delivery Nurse
Job Overview
- Location: Annapolis, Maryland
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Background check covering the past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- References from 2 supervisors or above
- Complete application/resume
- Skills checklist for the applicable unit
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- N95 fit test within the past 12 months before start
- Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the past 12 months
- TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity or required boosters
- Hepatitis B immunity or declination
- Varicella immunity or required boosters
- Negative 9-panel drug screen
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Color vision testing within 12 months of start
- Competency exam
- Annual updates required for applicable compliance items
Work Environment
- Very fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit
- Approximately 450 births per month
- Potentially willing to offer 4x12s

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful.
