Neuro ICU Travel/Contract RN

Overview

  • Location: Madison, Wisconsin
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 17 weeks
  • Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
  • Schedule includes every other weekend and some holidays

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Wisconsin
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Neurosurgery experience

Schedule Notes

  • If time off is requested for a scheduled weekend, the traveler may still be scheduled for a contingent weekend

Compliance / Onboarding

  • Wisconsin caregiver screening and Wisconsin BID form are required
  • Background check required
  • Employment application required
  • References required
  • Skills checklist required annually
  • Drug screen required
  • TB questionnaire and TB clearance required
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
  • Hepatitis B documentation or declination required for direct patient care roles
  • MMR, varicella, and other standard health documentation are required as applicable

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
