Registered Nurse – PCU/Telemetry

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Lees Summit, Missouri
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Patient ratio: 1:5
Unit type: PCU/Telemetry
Community hospital with 240 staffed beds

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Work Expectations

8 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule period
Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities
Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments may be required
First-time travelers are accepted

Additional Notes

No on-call
No block scheduling
Local candidates are not accepted
Pending license is not accepted
RTO limit: no more than 7 days
Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks
Special requirement: post-cath patients

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
