Registered Nurse — MS/Tele
Job Overview
- Travel/contract position in Potsdam, New York
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment
- 48 hours per week
Unit Details
- Average daily census: 23
- 17 rooms, 30 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights
- May float to sister units, including West 2, West 3, and Observation
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Can be PCU or med-surg/tele; PCU-trained candidates are prioritized
- Certified Stroke Center
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience with 1 year of experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
