Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Springfield, Illinois
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 6:15 AM–2:45 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- On-call required: 1–2 nights per week and every 5th weekend
- RTO preference: ideally no more than 5 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVOR (3 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with:
- Atrial Septal defect (adult) repair
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
- ECMO
- Femoral Cannulation
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump
- Left Ventricular Assist device
- MAZE Procedure
- Mitral valve replacement
- PDA
- Pericardial window
Required Clinical Experience
- Cardiovascular surgery experience with:
- Aortic aneurysm repair
- Adult atrial septal defect repair
- Coronary artery bypass graft
- ECMO
- Femoral cannulation
- Intra-aortic balloon pump
- Left ventricular assist device
- MAZE procedure
- Mitral valve replacement
- PDA
- Pericardial window
- TAVR
- Scrub cardiovascular surgery
- Vascular surgery experience with:
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair
- Arteriovenous fistula repair
- Atherectomy
- Carotid endarterectomy
- Endovascular aneurysm repair
- Femoral popliteal bypass graft
- Scrub vascular surgery
- Vein stripping
- Thoracic surgery experience with:
- Laparoscopic assisted cases
- Lobe resection
- Mediastinoscopy
- Thoracotomy
- VATS
- Scrub thoracic surgery
- Endoscopic procedure experience with:
- Bronchoscopy
