House Supervisor
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- House Supervisor experience with 1 year of experience
- House Supervisor experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in Supervisor roles
- Experience with Epic
Unit Details
- Scattered-bed unit serving swing bed, detox, and medical patients
- Inpatient RN ratio: 1:6 on days and 1:7 on nights, with LPN support for med pass and/or ALC/swing bed assignments
- Majority of census is subacute patients needing rehab for debility, wound care, and long-term IV antibiotics
- Common diagnoses include CHF, pneumonia, chest pain observation/rule-out, syncope, diverticulitis, cellulitis, COPD, alcohol withdrawal, opiate withdrawal, and debility
Additional Notes
- Scrubs required; no formal dress code
- Bariatric equipment is rented when needed
- Respiratory therapy services are available Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
