Cath Lab Tech
Job Overview
- Location: South Bend, Indiana
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Indiana
- Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Pacemaker procedures
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- STEMI response
- Starting IVs
- Rotablator procedures
- EP ablations
- Pacemaker implants
Clinical Skills / Experience Needed
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Inpatient and outpatient care
- Pacemakers
- Obtaining vitals
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- STEMI support
- Starting IVs
- Phlebotomy

Schedule Details
- Start time: 7:00 AM, with one late day per week starting at 8:00 AM
- On-call: 1 night per week
- Weekend call rotation: every 4th weekend
- May float to Interventional Radiology if needed or if Cath Lab volume is low
- Participates in late and on-call mandate rotation
- Holiday on-call as needed
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Local candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Pending state license is accepted if active by start
- Scrub color: light blue
