PCU RN Travel/Contract Job

Overview

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Location: Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Rotating 3x12s; straight nights may be considered
Hours: 36 per week
Unit type: Progressive care / mixed acuity

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Valid RN license in Colorado
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience: 2 years of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience, with experience within the last year
Certifications: BLS issued by American Heart Association, ACLS issued by American Heart Association, NIHSS

Work Expectations

May be required to float within scope, including to sister facilities within the metro region
May rotate to med-surg assignments on the unit
May float to other units as needed
On-call is not required

Additional Notes

RTO is limited to 10 days maximum and is not allowed during specified blackout periods
Navy blue scrubs are required
Charting system used: EPIC

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
