Registered Nurse

Location

Holyoke, Massachusetts

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week
Evening shift
Every other weekend and every other holiday

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
3 years of psychiatric experience
Psychiatric experience within the last year
BLS
CPI
Experience working with adult patients
Experience working with adolescent patients
Experience working with geriatric patients
Experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting

Preferred Experience

Previous psychiatric/substance inpatient experience
Restraint reduction de-escalation/crisis intervention experience

Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving
Behavioral health and substance abuse treatment knowledge
Trauma-informed recovery model nursing practice
Therapeutic communication and professional boundaries
Oral and written communication
Typing and computer skills for electronic medical record use
Crisis management, time management, delegating, coaching, team building

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
