Cath Lab Technologist

Overview

Location: Austin, Texas
Employment type: LTA
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:45 - 15:15
Work week: 40 hours with rotating on-call coverage

Role Summary

Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system. Responsibilities include active physiological monitoring of heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and saturations; intra-procedure testing and monitoring; room setup; patient transport; post-procedure clean-up; infection control; sharp safety procedures; and patient education on post-procedure monitoring and catheter insertion site care.

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT or RCIS
Driver's License

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
