Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Bloomington, Indiana
- Day shift: 4x10s, 6:30a–5:00p, Monday–Friday
- On-call: about one evening per week and every 4th weekend, with a 30-minute response time
- Locals accepted
- Pending license accepted if the application has already been submitted
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Indiana
- Cath Lab Technologist (1.5 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Certifications and Health Requirements
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- CHEMO - Chemotherapy
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Color blind testing required
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit mask test within 12 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire required and updated annually
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella immunity documentation required
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination required
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
- Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement required
- Background check required within 90 days of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
- Transcript or diploma required
- Education verification required
Preferred
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap is preferred, but not required
