Outpatient Pediatric Therapist

Overview

• Travel/contract role in South Bend, Indiana
• Outpatient pediatric therapy for patients from newborn through age 18
• 13-week contract
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• No call, no weekends, no holidays

Required Qualifications

• Valid School Services (Occupational Therapist) license in Indiana
• Occupational Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Experience in a(n) Teaching Hospital setting

Float Scope

• Required to float to local school corporations 2–3 days per week during the school year
• Works in outpatient care at the Children’s Therapy Center for the remainder of the week

Unit / Setting

• Memorial Children’s Therapy Center
• 526-bed Level II trauma teaching facility

Schedule

• Typically 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Support / Workflow

• Unit clerks/secretaries available
• Collaboration with physical and speech therapy
• No CNA/PCT support

Orientation

• Two 8-hour orientation days
• Online facility onboarding before starting

• Cerner

Dress Code

• Gray scrubs
• Closed-toe tennis shoes
• Safety and infection-prevention requirements apply for jewelry, hair, facial hair, and nails
