Description
American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience and teaching-hospital background for a Level II trauma teaching facility's children's therapy center.
Details
- Outpatient pediatric therapy setting treating patients from newborn through age 18
- Located within a 526-bed Level II trauma teaching facility
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- No weekends, holidays, or call requirements
- Float required 2-3 days per week to local school corporations during the school year, with remaining days at the Children's Therapy Center
- Uses ReDoc and Cerner charting systems
Requirements
- OTR certification and NBCOT certification required
- IN state license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
- Teaching-hospital experience required
- Prior travel experience required
- School-based pediatric experience preferred
Additional Information
- Collaborate with physical and speech therapy teams
- Support provided by unit clerks/secretaries; no CNA/PCT support available
- Two 8-hour orientation days plus online facility onboarding required before starting
- Must adhere to department policies and school-corporation procedures
- Gray scrubs and closed-toe tennis shoes required, along with safety and infection-prevention standards for jewelry, hair, facial hair, and nails
