Description
Echo Tech - 130
Location: Parkersburg, West Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Department
- ECHO/CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER (cost center 130)
- 2 rooms and 1 holding area, with scanning in 3 areas
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- RDCS-AE or RDMS or RDCS or CCI
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Driver's License
Preferred
- ARDMS AE and PE
- Ability to do standard studies and TEEs
- Pediatric experience is a huge plus
Float / Coverage
- Does not float or cover other areas; only Echos and TEEs
Schedule
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with possible later start depending on the first study
- Coverage every 3rd Saturday
- Call every 3rd day
Additional Notes
- Average volume: 15–20 studies per day
- Equipment: Phillips
- EPIC and PACS are used
- RN from cath lab starts IVs
