    Work Experience
  • Allied Health Professional (2 years)
  • Echo Technologist, Cardiac Sonographer, Adult Echocardiographer, Echocardiographer or Echo-Vascular Sonographer (2 years)

Description

Echo Tech - 130

Location: Parkersburg, West Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Department

  • ECHO/CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER (cost center 130)
  • 2 rooms and 1 holding area, with scanning in 3 areas

Required Qualifications

  • Echo Technologist with 2 years of experience
  • Echo Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • RDCS-AE or RDMS or RDCS or CCI
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients
  • Driver's License

Preferred

  • ARDMS AE and PE
  • Ability to do standard studies and TEEs
  • Pediatric experience is a huge plus

Float / Coverage

  • Does not float or cover other areas; only Echos and TEEs

Schedule

  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with possible later start depending on the first study
  • Coverage every 3rd Saturday
  • Call every 3rd day

Additional Notes

  • Average volume: 15–20 studies per day
  • Equipment: Phillips
  • EPIC and PACS are used
  • RN from cath lab starts IVs

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
