Critical Care Float

Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Seattle, Washington.
• Start date: 10/12
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• Every other weekend required
• Float scope: all critical care units
• First-timers are not accepted
• Locals are accepted
• On-call is not required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Pending license is not accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Critical Care Float experience within the last year
• 3 years of Critical Care Float experience
• One completed travel assignment
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Mechanical ventilator management
• Conscious sedation experience
• Trauma experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC
• ICP
• PA Lines

Additional Notes

• Holiday RTO: must work 2 of the 3 holidays; Christmas RTO is not available
• RTO must be submitted before facility submission; additional RTO will not be granted after offer
• References must be from a direct supervisor, not a charge RN
• Telemetry competency testing is required
• Epic is used for charting
• Daily onsite parking is available at additional cost
