Overview

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Assignment length: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP
Shift: 4x10 days, Monday-Friday
Weekend schedule: Occasional Saturday
On-call: No
Float scope: May float within scope for x-ray coverage
Locals: Not accepted; candidate must live at least 50 miles from the facility
First-time travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

CT Technologist experience within the last year
CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
Radiology Technologist experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT (R)
ARRT (CT)
X-ray experience with abdomen/GI
X-ray experience with spine/pelvis
X-ray experience with head/chest/thorax
X-ray experience with musculoskeletal

Preferred Qualifications

Neonates
Infants
Fluoroscopy Studies
Enema Studies

Assignment Details

Outpatient clinic
Most patients are mobile
Sees many patients for follow-up cancer diagnosis
Performs IV starts, i-Stat labs, contrast injection, and post-processing images

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
