Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• 1 year of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• Inpatient only
• Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption is required for travelers from November 1-April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred

Schedule and Float

• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call
• Floats on a rotational basis to critical care cluster or med/surg
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week

• Neuro Trauma Intermediate PCU 6D
• 26 beds
• Patient ratio: 3:1 or 4:1
• Patient population includes neuro, trauma, alcohol withdraw, resp distress, and insulin drips

Additional Notes

• Black scrubs required
• Anything but black scrubs or Mercy-logo attire is not acceptable
• RTO must be made up on the back end and is not approved in the first week of assignment
• Holiday RTO: 1 request per assignment
• Flexible guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours may be approved if listed on the submission form
• Blocked scheduling may be approved if listed on the submission form
