CT Tech
Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 4x10 hours, 21:00–7:30
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New Jersey
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT)
- ARRT (R)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience / Clinical Background
- Adult Acute Care
- Adult Outpatient
- Emergency Department
- ICU
- CT imaging experience with:
- Abdomen/pelvis with or without contrast
- Coronary CTA
- Cervical
- Lumbar
- Musculoskeletal trauma
- Thoracic
- Chest with or without contrast
- Vascular chest, including pulmonary embolism, CTA, and aorta
Scheduling / Work Expectations
- Every other weekend
- Must work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays, as needed
- Candidates must float within their skillset without exception
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals accepted at the same rate
Unit Details
- Primarily adult patients
- May work with pediatric patients
- Approximately 250 scans per day
Preferred Qualifications
- Siemens experience highly preferred
Additional Notes
- Black scrubs required
