Description

CVOR RN

Overview

  • Replacement assignment starting 10/05.
  • Length: 16-26 weeks.
  • Schedule options: 4 10-hour days or 3 12-hour days.
  • Call: one or two 12-hour weekday calls, plus one full weekend of call every 5 weeks.
  • Must be flexible with schedule to meet unit and patient care needs.
  • No block schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • BLS
  • Prior travel experience
  • CIRCULATE ONLY
  • General experience
  • Large (500+ beds), academic, teaching hospital experience
  • Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience with recent experience and high competency in cardio vascular/open heart OR
  • Epic experience within the past 2 years

Preferred Qualifications

  • CNOR

Float Scope

  • May be required to float to other OR suites, including general, ortho, neuro, and ENT.
  • If floated, the role remains circulating only and does not require scrubbing.

Additional Details

  • Travelers must work 2 of these 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
  • Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is strongly recommended.
  • Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April.
  • Bi-weekly orientations are held on Monday.

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
