Description

Cath Lab RN

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Kansas City, Missouri
  • Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
  • 40 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Average daily census: 4 procedures per lab
  • Visits per day: 16
  • Ratios: 1:4 days, 1:3 nights
  • First-timers accepted
  • Local candidates accepted
  • On-call required, including weekends
  • Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
  • RTO limit: no more than 7 days
  • Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • Experience with Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab
  • Experience with Interventional Cardiac Cath lab
  • Experience with Cardiac Stent Placement
  • Experience with Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult
  • Experience with IABP Placement/Removal
  • Experience with Impella insertion
  • Experience with Interventional Catheterizations
  • Experience with Left heart catheterization
  • Experience with Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
  • Experience with Pharmacological Stress Test

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
