MS/Tele
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Rolla, Missouri
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Adults and geriatrics
- EOW
Unit / Clinical Focus
- Acute medical-surgical patient care with telemetry
- Post-care for pacemaker and cardiac cath procedures
- Also includes thoracentesis, chest tubes, some cardiac drip and heparin drips
- Conditions mentioned: CHF, infection, pneumonia, stroke, TIA, seizures, UTI
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- ENPC
Health / Compliance Requirements
- N95 fit test within 1 year of start; must use 1870+ mask
- Negative TB or chest X-ray documentation
- TB questionnaire for positive TB
- Rubeola, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
- Drug screen within 3 months of start
- Flu vaccine or signed declination during flu season
- Seasonal COVID vaccine or declination
- COVID-19 vaccination declaration
- Candidate must sign the job description
- Candidate must review the parking policy
- Modules may be completed before start or during orientation
- Orientation checklist collected post-start
