ER
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Guilford, Connecticut
- 13-week assignment
- Evening shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- Average patient ratio: 1:6
- Start date: ASAP
- One campus assignment, with possible rotation to other campuses
- May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Guaranteed hours
- Every other weekend required
- First-timers not accepted
- Pending license accepted
- RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a like hospital

Compliance / Onboarding
- Driver’s license or state ID matching legal name required on first day
- 7-year criminal background check required within 12 months of start and updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
- Education verification required
- Physical exam required within 12 months of start
- Fit test required within 12 months of start and updated annually
- TB questionnaire required and updated annually
- 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of start
- References required within 3 years of start
- 7-year work history required with no gaps greater than 90 days
- Skills checklist required within 12 months of start
- New employee orientation module required at orientation/start
- ED handbook required for ED/ER RNs
- Language services training required
