Description
NICU RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Madison, Wisconsin
- 13-week contract
- 12-hour day/night shifts
- Scheduled M-F with 2–3 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period
- Orientation week shift length may vary and may include 8-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience with post-operative patients
- Experience with g-tubes
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management
- Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
- Experience with Epic
Notes
- Level III and Level IV NICU experience may be combined to meet the 2-year total, but at least 1 year must be in a Level IV NICU
