Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
Overview
- Temp assignment in Glens Falls, New York
- 13-week contract
- Day shift
- Cardiac Catheterization Lab / Cardiovascular Lab setting
- Care includes acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations
- Staffed 24/7 for emergency procedures during off hours, weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS
- BLS
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
- Experience with cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
- STEMI and STEMI call experience
- Proficiency interpreting EKG & Hemodynamic pressure tracings
- Conscious sedation experience
- IV experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Moderate Sedation Certified
- EP experience
Assignment Details
- Positions and immobilizes patients on the examining table following specified protocols
- Performs continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics
- Performs conscious sedation
- Mixes and maintains IV/IC infusion and bolus
- Alerts the physician to changes in patient responses
- Assists the physician in interventional procedures
- Recovery of patient to Phase I
Compliance / Submission Notes
- Epic experience should be included on the profile
- 14-panel drug screen must be completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance
- New and returning agency staff must complete onboarding training through Welle or CPI
- Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
- Permanent address must be included in the profile and match the driver license or state ID
- Travelers from certain New York counties are not considered for this assignment
- Traveler must have their own vehicle
- Profile must include work history, a current skills checklist, and one supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
Dress Code
- Personal scrubs of any color
- No designs or cartoons
- No hoodies
