Overview

• Travel/contract role in Saratoga Springs, New York
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Patient ratio: 1:4–5
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the listed address are not eligible

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications
• Experience with continuous infusions
• Experience with Epic
• NIHSS; may be obtained prior to start if needed
• Must be able to read rhythms
• Must pass a hospital proctored rhythm identification test with >80% accuracy and 100% accuracy on critical rhythms
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption

Preferred

• Critical drip experience
• CVA experience

Unit / Clinical Focus

• Telemetry
• Experience managing IV cardiac medications and continuous infusions
• Familiarity with stroke care and management

Housing

• Housing resources may be available
• Housing in Saratoga can be expensive; traveler should review housing before signing
