Role Details
- School-based Occupational Therapist position serving students ages 5-21
- The school is a certificate track program for students with Autism and coinciding diagnoses
- OT services are provided in small group, individual, and dyad sessions
- Expected caseload includes 15-20 IEP hours of OT services
- Staff hours are 8-4pm
Required Qualifications
- Valid School Services (Occupational Therapist) license in Maryland
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Government issued photo ID
- State License 1 Verification
- Mandatory Reporter
- Fingerprinting in Maryland is required
- 7 Year Background Check
- Federal background search
- EPLS/GSA/SAM
- HHS/OIG
- Education Verification for highest degree obtained
- Maryland State Sex Offender Registry Search
- Maryland Medicaid Exclusion List
- 2 Professional References within 2 years of start
- Complete Application
- Skills Checklist 1 if applicable to the unit
- Physical Exam within 12 months of start
- Fit Mask within 1 year of start
- TB Questionnaire
- COVID proof of vaccination or Aya declination form
- Negative 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start
Preferred
- Negative QGOLD or TSPOT within 1 year of start and updated annually is highly preferred
- Flu vaccine or exemption is required during flu season for general candidates, but flu vaccine is recommended but not required for school employees
