Description

American Traveler is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for a school setting serving students ages 5-21 with Autism and co-occurring diagnoses.

Details

School-based setting for a certificate-track program serving students ages 5-21 with Autism and coinciding diagnoses
Full-time position with 15-20 IEP service hours per week
Services provided in small group, individual, and dyad sessions based on student needs
Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Staff may be required to float to any age population when scheduling requires

Requirements

Active Maryland OT license required if applicable
Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

Provide occupational therapy services based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
Complete non-billable training modules during orientation and annually via Relias/Net Learning portal
Orientation sessions occur every other Thursday
Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland through Livescan prior to clearance
Facility maintains a strict no-tolerance drug screening policy, including medical marijuana
Former permanent employees must wait one full year before applying for a travel position
RTO requests must be submitted with the initial profile; changes after submission are not guaranteed
